Here I am in my memade skirt. Meaning its self drafted no pattern was used or trees harmed in the making of this skirt. 🙂
I used the StyleSewMe tutorial to make the skirt and I’m very happy with how it turned out. I decided to create a casual look so I paired my skirt with a white tee, jean jacket and sandals. Everywhere we went people stopped me to tell me that they loved my outfit.
I don’t know why but whenever I make a self drafted waistband it’s always an inch to big. I’m sure it has to do with my issue of hating tight waistbands that get in the way of eating. 🙂 🙂 🙂 so the black belt I’m wearing is kinda holding my skirt up. I’m going to give this to my daughter so trust me….it will be worn.
I grabbed a bolt of this camo fabric from FashionFabricClub. Check them out – great prices and fast shipping. I’m starting to expand my fabric palette by ordering on line. So far so good.
Thanks for stopping by.

Gorgeous skirt! I’ve got my eye on some great camo fabric so you’ve inspired me to give a skirt (or maybe something else) a go 🙂

Thanks Elly! I want to see whatever you make. Camo is the look for the season…..
Great job on the skirt
Thank you so much
I never thought I’d like camo in a skirt, but I LOVE this!
lol Ciara – How are you sweetie?
Wow! Self drafting…an area on which I have yet to embark. I love a skirt with pleats and a camouflage maxi skirt with pleats? YES! These are great pics too! Very nice!
Thanks Terri – you should make one!
