Coats and Jackets….that is. My opinion is there are never too many especially living in California – specifically the Bay Area. We have so many micro-climates that you need to change coats and/or jackets a couple of times before you reach your intended destination. Here is my latest little textured jacket. This is not meant for any heavy duty weather but it can definitely keep the chill away. We took the jacket out for a test run this past Sunday at Jack London Square. The weather was perfect and it was nice to get out of the house – cabin fever was starting to get the best of me.
This was a very easy sew and came together quickly. This is Vogue 8780 and the fabric is from Moods. What I like most is the structure of the jacket and of course the pattern is what takes this jacket over the top. Oh and yes…..there are pockets 🙂
I’m off and running and will be back with the results of the “Scraps” contest. Hope you had a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.
Gotta Go…..Gotta Sew
