It started with a flurry of sewing projects for my cruise in March of this year. I was down to the last few hours and could not finish this beauty in time for the trip. So I finally got around to finishing my Cold Shoulder Top ~ Eyelet Sweetness.
I purchased the fabric from SAS last year. Whenever I go home to visit family, I always swing through Hawthorne to get my fabric fix. Eyelet reminds me of lazy summer days – stretched out on a lounge chair – sipping tea – um Long Island Iced Tea…. 🙂
I used a McCalls pattern for the top. It was a very easy sew. I lined it with an ITY knit I had in my stash and added 3 inches in length. The self bias was a bit tricky and the only thing I didn’t like was the slip stitching required for the neck area.
I paired the top with a pair of Pixie Pants from Old Navy and my Leather Chucks. 🙂
I’m ready for Spring and Summer 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.
