Feeling A 70’s Kinda Way

This past weekend – we celebrated Jerome’s birthday at his favorite place.  PPQ Crab  in San Francisco.  If you love garlic noodles and garlic crab then this is a must visit.  Okay…you know the California Dungeness Crab season is on hold because of the toxic algae in the ocean waters.  I was so upset when I heard this because…its Gumbo Time 🙂  So to not disappoint us spoiled Bay Area peeps the folks at PPQ had crabs flown in from Washington 🙁 what can I do but eat the dang thing.  It was sooooooo good. If you want to see the food pics…hop over to SewVeStyle on Instagram.

While we were there I took a few pics for the blog.  I was photo bombed by a passer by and my best shots include a porta potty in the background.  I was thinking about editing it out….but changed my mind.  I think it adds to the realness of life in the City.

This is one of my FAVORITE patterns.  It’s Burda and I’ve made this dress several times but this is my first long sleeve version.  It’s the easiest sew ever….only two pieces and you can’t been that with a yard stick.  I see you looking at that Porta Potty.  🙂

I’m keeping it short and sweet.  I’ll see you soon and have a wonderful day.

Thanks for stopping by.

Gotta Go….Gotta Sew
