This has been a long time coming. I have been sewing my heart away while secretly dreading establishing an on-line presence. I mean wouldn’t you rather sew all day? Be that as it may, I had to buck up and get ‘er done. I had family visit for Thanksgiving which was great and I still got some sewing in. I made “6” wraps with click here McCall’s 6209. Sadly with all the sewing, food and frivolity I had no time for make up and posing so you get to see the wraps on Simone.
I purchased fleece from Cali Fabrics, JoAnn’s and Discount Fabrics. Color blocking was easy to do and a nice way to put my personal spin on this easy project. For my lovelies on the East Coast or anywhere that is particularly cold – remember I’m in California – highly recommend a wool or wool blend if you want to make one for yourself. Fleece will not work!
Thanks for stopping by!
Love this-thanks so much for sharing! Keep pursuing your passion and sewing to your hearts content 🙂
I’m going to do this for as long as I can. We’ll see if I can make a go of it.
Thanks Judy – you’re vote of confidence means a lot. Venita
This looks great, V, you have a talent the world was not aware of. I can’t even say don’t give up the day job, cuz you got this.
