Living my life like it’s Golden Golden. Come through Jill Scott 🙂 I saw this dress a month ago and made a mental note to make it myself. This is a very simple sew and I have an event to attend later this month. The colors are gold and white which in mind should not be mixed unless it’s a print.
I decided to stick with my satin theme and found a luxurious gold fabric for my project. Joann’s did not disappoint – it’s $7.99 a yard right now. I grabbed 3 yards and went straight to work. This is Simplicity Easy to Sew. Seriously anyone can make this dress. I made view B and added the back tie in view C. I cut size 14 and graded out to size 16 for the hip area.
This post is short and sweet. I’m letting the dress do all the talking. The hardest part of making this dress was getting to the photo shoot “unwrinkled”. I hate wrinkled clothes. 🙁
